Week of April 4th Reader Response Entry
This week's reader response is due on April 22nd due to the short week and Spring Break. It is: Good authors help readers make an emotional connection to their stories. How does your book make you feel? (happy, angry, amused, frustrated)? Why does it make you feel that way? (minimum 5 sentences).

My mom, my sister, and I are reading The Secret Garden. So far, we have read the first four chapters. The book makes me feel sad for Mary. She is the main character and she has to go live with her uncle because her parents died of cholera. I am hopeful that she will be happy in her new home.
